Call or text

In plain English: tell us what's wrong, and a patient, certified tech takes it from there — in person in Honolulu or remotely anywhere in Hawaiʻi.

An open front door onto a sunlit garden: a canvas bag and a closed laptop set down on the woven doormat beside a pair of slippers, the gray cat watching from just inside.

The everyday stuff

Sound familiar?

  • "A pop-up says my computer is infected, and I'm scared to click anything."

  • "My email just… stopped."

  • "The printer works for everyone in the house except me."

  • "My storage is full and I don't know what's safe to delete."

  • "The Wi-Fi drops every afternoon and nobody can tell me why."

  • "I got a new Mac and nothing is where it used to be."

In plain English: whatever it is, it's almost certainly fixable — and no job is too small to ask about.

How it works

Three steps. No mysteries.

  1. Tell us what's going on.

A two-minute form, in your own words — "my email stopped working" tells us plenty. We reply within 24 hours, Mon–Sat, with a plan and a time.

  2. We come to you — or connect remotely.

Patient, unhurried help at your Honolulu home or business, or a secure remote session you approve and can end at any time, from any island.

  3. You get it in writing.

After every visit or session: a plain-English summary of what we did, what we found, and what — if anything — comes next.

In plain English: you'll always know what's happening, what it costs, and what was done.

For families on the mainland

Live far away? We'll be their tech people on the island.

You request and pay from anywhere — the first hour up front by card, any extra time invoiced after we finish. Both work from any state. Your parent gets patient, in-person help in Honolulu, or a gentle remote session. And after every visit you get the plain-English summary, so you know exactly what happened — without another worried phone call.

Why Nekko IT

Certified, patient, and honest about the limits.

  • Apple ACMT · ACSP · ACTC
  • CompTIA IT Operations Specialist
  • Google Cybersecurity

Certifications held by Rodri, your technician — real and verifiable.

We don't repair hardware.

Cracked screen, failing battery, dead logic board — we'll tell you straight and point you to a repair shop we'd trust with our own machines. That advice is free.

Plain English is a policy here, not a personality trait. Every technical term gets explained, every option gets a price, and "no" is an answer we're not afraid to give.

New name, not new at this

Nekko IT is new. The experience isn't.

Nekko IT is the tech-support practice of Nekko Digital, a Honolulu company. You'll be working with Rodri — the certifications are his, and they're real. The pricing is public, and every message gets a reply within 24 hours, Mon–Sat.

Where we work

On-site in Honolulu. Remote everywhere in Hawaiʻi.

House calls cover urban Honolulu — including Waikīkī, Ala Moana, Kakaʻako, Downtown, Makiki, Mānoa, Moʻiliʻili, Kaimukī, Kapahulu, Kāhala, Nuʻuanu. Somewhere else on Oʻahu, or on a neighbor island? Remote sessions cover every island at $75/hr.

In plain English: if you're in Honolulu, we come to you. Everywhere else in Hawaiʻi, we connect remotely.

Fair questions

Things people ask before they reach out.

How much does it cost?

On-site in Honolulu is $119 for the first hour (travel included), then $85/hr after that. Remote is $75/hr with a one-hour minimum. Full details on the pricing page — no surprises is the whole point.

Who actually shows up?

Rodri — Apple-certified (ACMT, ACSP, ACTC), plus CompTIA IT Operations Specialist and Google Cybersecurity. The same technician every time, so nobody has to re-explain their setup to a stranger.

Can I call instead of using the form?

Yes — call or text , Mon–Sat, 10am–5pm. If we're mid-visit with a client, text or leave a message and you'll hear back within 24 hours.

Do you fix cracked screens, batteries, or other hardware?

No. If your machine needs a physical repair, we'll say so plainly and point you to a Honolulu shop we'd trust with our own machines. That advice is free.

Is remote access safe?

You approve the session before it starts, you watch everything happen on your own screen, and access ends completely when the session ends. Nothing happens without your say-so.

Do you work on Windows PCs?

Yes. We're Apple-certified and Apple-first — and fully comfortable with Windows.

Can you help with iPhones and iPads too?

Yes — setup, syncing, storage, and "it just stopped working" mysteries, on-site or remote.

What if it can't be fixed?

Sometimes the honest answer is "this needs a repair shop" or "it's time to replace it." You'll get that answer straight, with your options and rough costs — and you only ever pay for the time used.

How do I pay?

The first hour is paid up front by card through a secure Square link we send you. If the job runs longer, we send a Square invoice for the extra time when we finish. Works fine from the mainland. No cash.

I'm on the mainland — can I arrange help for my parents in Honolulu?

Yes — that's one of the main things we do. See how it works for families.

Tell us what's going on. We'll take it from there.
